October 28th 2011 - Bequia Road show a big hitPersons wanting to experience the Aeropost Digicel Road Show can tomorrow Saturday October 29th travel to Georgetown where the seventh event will take place.
Meanwhile, last Saturday October 22nd, residents of the Grenadines Island of Bequia were treated to a grand time as the sixth installment of the Road Show brought a bit of excitement and free gifts to the usually quiet island.
Personnel from Digicel and Aeropost travelled to Bequia where they allowed persons the opportunity to sign up with Aeropost free of cost while Digicel’s cash vault gave persons the opportunity to win prizes that included credit, handsets and data packages.
Persons interacted with the Aeropost team which was led by Customer Service Supervisor Donna Thomas-Allen and the Digicel team led by Marketing Executive Justin John.
The road show which began on Saturday September 17th in Sandy Bay is geared at bringing a bit of excitement and gifts to the various communities while it also has the aim of informing persons of the services offered by Digicel and internet shopping company Aeropost.
Places visited so far include the Grammar School Playing (Saturday October 8st) and the community of Layou (Saturday October 1st). Persons who visit the Aeropost and Digicel booths are usually entertained with music and giveaways that included magazines, free Aeropost membership, Digicel towels, caps, water bottles and discounted handsets. Numerous school supplies are also given to children while persons who buy credit get double top up.
The collaboration between Digicel and Aeropost is an effort to get the public more aware of the services offered by both companies as well as giving back something to loyal customers.
